Chocolat

Well, it might take months to get in the first time, but for Claire McFarlane (missnoma), the second outing is hot on the heels of the first.

Chocolat

Once more, the better composition is plucked from the list of simplicity. One base concept: the details of wind-swept sands. The abstraction of the dominant patterns – repetitive yet never the same – is immediately captivating: organic forms of lifelessness. Details in high contrast. And then one small slice on the side, breaking the regularity of the flow: other forms anchored on a golden ratio and receding off to the corner.

Simple, but very effective.
